ROM. 1:16

John 3:3 - 3:5-8 (KJV) 3. Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 5. Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. 8. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
FIVE {5} COMPLETE STEPS IN HOW TO BECOME A TOP HAND
step 1
ACKNOWLEDGE YOU ARE CONDEMNED BECAUSE OF SIN!

1. You Are By Nature a Sinner:
“There is none righteous, no, not one.   (Romans 3:23).
2. Sin Has Separated You From God:
“But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear” (Isaiah 59:2).
3. Penalty of Sin Is Eternal Punishment:
“In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ; Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power” (II Thessalonians 1:8-9).
step 2
REALIZE YOU MUST BE SAVED FROM SIN!

You Must Be Born Again:
“Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God” (John 3:3).

You must Become God’s Child:
“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. (John 1:12).

You Must Become A New Person:
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17)
step 3
Admit you cannot save yourself from sin!

Your Righteousness Will Not Save You:
“Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us…” (Titus 3:5).

Your Religious Deeds Will Not Save You:
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God; Not of works, lest any man should boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9).

Jesus Alone Can Save You:
“Neither is there salvation in any other; for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).
step 4
Believe Jesus died for your sin!

Jesus’ Death Paid the Penalty for Sin:
“Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness; by whose stripes ye were healed” (1 Peter 2:24).

Jesus’ Blood Cleanses from All Sin:
“In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace” (Ephesians 1:7).

Jesus’ Resurrection Provides Eternal Life:
“But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.” (1 Corinthians 15:20).
step 5
Receive Jesus as your Saviour from sin!

By believing on the Lord Jesus Christ:
“And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house” (Acts 16:31).

By Asking God to Forgive You.
“Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool” (Isaiah 1:18).

By Asking God to Save You.
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Romans 10:13).
PRAYER OF SALVATION

Almighty and merciful God, I thank Thee for thy Son, Jesus Christ, who died for my sins and arose again from the dead.   I am truly sorry for all I have done wrong and ask Thee to make me a Christian.   In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life” (John 3:36)
Follow me
And I will make you
Fishers of men.
KJV - MARK 1:2 As it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee. 1:3 The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. 1:4 John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.1:39 And he preached in their synagogues throughout all Galilee, and cast out devils. 1:41 And Jesus, moved with compassion, put forth [his] hand, and touched him, and saith unto him, I will; be thou clean. 1:42 And as soon as he had spoken, immediately the leprosy departed from him, and he was cleansed.

KJV - MATTHEW 4:18 And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers. 4:19 And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.

~The Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin in order to draw some out for the sake of Christ~ (John 16:8-10).
~The Holy Spirit teaches us~ (John 14:26).
~Holy Spirit does not restrain evil! In fact, the Holy Spirit does not restrain us from anything.   Instead, He leads us into God’s righteousness~ (Romans 8:14).

KJV - 2 THESSALONIANS 2:13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth: 2:14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. 2:16 Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given [us] everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, 2:17 Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.

KJV - MATTHEW 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
~God’s plan calls for all of Jesus’ enemies to be made His “footstool” (Matt. 22:44), indicating that all things will be subject to His control and authority.

KJV - MATTHEW 22:44 The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool?

~Christ shall completely and utterly destroy the power of the Anti-Christ with the brightness of His coming!~

The Bible is totally trustworthy and totally sufficient. (2Peter 1:20-21)
Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

                    How To Be Saved

        God Loves you.

God created you. Not only that, He loves you so much that he wants you to spend eternity with Him. Jesus said, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believieth in him should not perish but have everlasting life" (John 3:16).

Jesus came so that each of us could know and understand God in a personal way. If you are in bondage, immorality, and feel you don’t have a purpose that can bring meaning to your very (essence) existance, there is one that can solve this, His name is JESUS the CHRIST! Jesus alone can bring meaning and purpose to your life.

Acts 3:26: Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.

Jesus died on the cross for payment of our sins so that we would not have to be punished for our sins. Romans 3:23 says “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God”. So if you are thinking that you can make it to heaven on your own, I say you are sadly mistaken. For we cannot do it own our own. Only the (shelter) precious and redeeming blood of Jesus can save us.

Romans 10:13 Says “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” If you are in need of Jesus call on His name and you shall be saved. There is so much pain that can be corrected with just that Name. Please give your life to Him and He will redeem you.

This is a requirement for Salvation we must turn from our sins and repent. Yes this is an ongoing thing. We all sin each and every day it's our nature too. So we must keep on asking forgiveness and turning from our sins.

Right now your thinking this is a requirement!

Well let me elaborate a little here. You see Salvation is a free gift from God. Jesus came to the earth for this reason to live a life that was Holy in Gods eyes so that he could die on the cross for our sins. You see Jesus took on death for you and he defeated it, we could not do this. He essentially died in your place so you can live. This had to be done for God demands we all pay for our sins BUT Jesus took those sins upon Himself, so our salvation comes through our Lord Jesus Christ. This is the gift of God.

John 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Let’s just take a gift from some one you know, say a car. Wow a free car! Yes the car was free BUT you still have to work on it such as changing the oil, water, spark plugs and whatever else that might come along.

Well it's the same with us we cry out to God to save us and forgive us of our sin and if we truly mean it in our hearts He does. So now we have a gift "SALVATION".

Matthew 10:38: And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.

Revelation 3:19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

Now that we have the gift we have to repent. Repent means to stop doing the sin that we asked God to forgive us of. "Changing the oil" making it new. This is an ongoing thing it never stops. Why? Because when you get into the word of God you find out that a sin is a sin no matter how big or small and you have to repent on a daily basis.

This is your cross.
Scripture says that you have to take up your cross daily, not fight your flesh daily and that is because the flesh tries to resurrect itself. Luke 9:23 “If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.” What is your cross? Your cross is where your will, your desire, your thoughts are contrary to the thoughts, will and desire of God for your life. It is where your will and the will of God come into conflict and you have to do as Jesus when He walked as a man and pray, “Father… not my will, but thine, be done” (Luke 22:42). Why is this true? We can verify this with another scripture. Isaiah 55:8-9 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.” So when we are following our ways, our thoughts, that is walking in the flesh because it is contrary to God’s ways and God’s thoughts which are given to us through His Word.

But you have to crucify your flesh once and for all. That is done by your coming to the cross and surrendering your life and identifying with His death, burial and resurrection, which is shown in baptism. Therein through baptism we tell the world that we have died to our self and living by our flesh, the way ways that are contrary to God’s Word and now are a new creation in Christ Jesus and will walk according to His Word and His Spirit. You crucify your flesh by identifying the flesh to the simplest definition and then you won’t have to constantly battle it.

A lot of so-called professed Christians only know of Jesus they just don't have a relationship with him. You must know Him to Love Him and keep His commandments. Be worthy of the Lord He is worthy of you.

1 John 2:3: And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.

Hebrews 5:9: And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;

Yes obey, let’s say you are driving that car that you got for free and you hear that small voice as you are driving down the road. The Lord says get off the interstate and go to the truck stop and outside of the door there's a man wearing a red shirt. The Lord says tell him I love him.

Well you think to yourself is that the Lord or am I just thinking that, so you throw caution to the wind. As you drive up there he is standing there just as the Lord said. You get out of the car and walk up and introduce yourself and tell him the Lord sent me here just to tell you that He loves you. And before you know it the Holy Spirit has moved on you and praying with him and it's a real blessing for both of you.

Now in return for your obedience The Lord blesses you with joy, compassion and maybe just maybe with the best wife a man could ever have or best husbend woman can have.

I thank God every day for anything in my life. He accepts my thanks and lets me know that next time to obey Him again.

Now with all this said I pray that the Holy Spirit convicts your heart and lets you know that there is a place in heaven for you. It's a wonderful place there! However there is a rulebook "The Holy Bible" it gives you guidance on all problems in life!

Now I urge You to find a spirit filled church home and read God's word for direction and find a mentor to help and advise you in your new walk with the Lord.

1-Admit that you are a sinner.
The Bible says, “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23).

2-Know that God has already provided for your salvation.
“For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son [Jesus Christ] that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).

3-Know that you cannot save yourself.
“Not by works of righteousness which we have done but according to his mercy he saved us” (Titus 3:5).

4-Repent of your sins.
“Except ye repent ye shall all likewise perish” (Luke 13:3).

5-Ask Jesus Christ to save you.
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Romans 10:13) and “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved” (Acts 16:31).

6-Proclaim Jesus before others.
“If thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shall be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness: and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10:9, 10).

How can you know whether God exists ?
Maybe Santa Claus exists too.
Christians often tell atheists that an atheist can never be sure there is no God.

To be sure there is no God, an atheist would have to know everything, because if there is anything the atheist doesn't know, then God could be part of that missing knowledge.

But what if the atheist responds this way: “Unless the Christian knows everything, maybe Santa Claus exists outside the Christian's knowledge.”

There is a big difference between knowing whether God exists and whether Santa Claus exists.

The biblical prophets and writers made statements like, “The word of the Lord came to me,” “When the Lord began to speak through Hosea, the Lord said to him …,” and so on. There was no guesswork or doubt — the writers say God communicated direct with people with knew Him.

But who would claim such personal contact with Santa Claus? For instance, is Santa Claus tall and skinny with long black hair? Does he live at the equator and ride a motorcycle? If these details are not correct, how do we know they're not?

In contrast, the Bible writers and prophets clearly identify God for us. They tell us about Him and how to know Him personally. Jesus said, “he that hath seen me hath seen the Father” (John 14:9). Millions have found that God rewards those who earnestly seek Him (Hebrews 11:6). Would anyone rush to claim the same for Santa Claus?
KJV - PSALMS 53:1 The fool hath said in his heart, [There is] no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: [there is] none that doeth good.
Does God exist ?
Why can't atheists find God ?
The Bible says God rewards those who diligently seek Him. Most atheists never find God because they never honestly look for Him.

Does God exist? If so, why can't atheists find Him?

Many Christians were once atheists. In fact, you could visit almost any Christian church and find members of the congregation who formerly did not believe in God. So it is not true to say that atheists cannot find God, because countless numbers have found Him.

But the Bible gives a reason why many atheists don’t find God. It says:

“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him” (Hebrews 11:6).
This shows that the reason many atheists never find God is because they never honestly look for Him. Christians who have been spiritually born-again know that God does reward those who seek Him — but not those who don't seek Him or those who don't care.

God's astounding promise
That astounding Bible promise in Hebrews 11:6, that God rewards those who diligently seek Him, has been proved by millions. But the first step — to come to God having faith that He exists — is the one most atheists never take. They say there is no God, yet they do not take even the first step to find Him.

People who scoffingly refuse to believe that God exists are like the old man who kept saying no one could ever reach the top of Sky Mountain. Mountain climbers passed the old man’s cottage near the base of the mountain every day and said they had climbed to the top of the mountain. He refused to believe them, so never took that first step to find out it was true.

It is probably fair to say that most born-again Christians wonder whether atheists have a screw loose in their brains. To Christians who have received God's Holy Spirit in their lives, and know how real this is, the atheist's claim that God doesn't exist seems like childish rebellion.

An atheist who tells a Christian there is no God might as well say the Chrtistian has no body. The Christian just thinks it is a ridiculous thing to say.

Depending on how an atheist announces his or her unbelief, the Christian will either feel pity for the atheist, or wonder how to get the atheist's intelligence and logic up to scratch.

“I don’t believe it if I don’t see it!”
An atheist once said in a debate that he could never believe in anything that he could not see, taste, hear, smell, or touch. His opponent asked him how he knew he had a brain, if he had never seen, tasted, heard, smelled, or touched it.

The atheist replied that even though he had never seen, tasted, heard, smelled, or touched his brain, the fact that brain experts had always found a brain in everyone they examined meant that he too probably had a brain. But he admitted that on this line of reasoning it was possible he may or may not have a brain, just as there may or may not be a God.

Amazing progress
His opponent pointed out that there had been some progress, because now that the atheist had admitted there could be a God he was no longer an atheist, but an agnostic (someone who doesn’t know whether God exists or not).

And this really is the best that scoffers can come up with. To know that God doesn’t exist means you would have to know everything, because if there is any information you don’t know, God could be among that. You would also have to be everywhere at the same time, because if you were not, God might be somewhere you were not.

Why will some atheists never find God, even though God has promised to reward them if they diligently seek Him in faith? Because they never honestly look. Christians need to help them to see the wonderful truth of Hebrews 11:6, not look down on them.

New evidance for Christ's Resurrection?
A professor of philosophy has used a probability formula to weigh evidence for and against Jesus Christ's Resurrection — and says the probability of the Resurrection comes out to be a whopping 97 per cent!

An article in The New York Times of May 11, 2002, written by Emily Eakin, reviewed a conference on ethics and belief at Yale University in April, 2002.

Eakin said Richard Swinburne, a Greek Orthodox professor of philosophy from Oxford University, used a probability formula known as Bayes's theorem to assign values to factors like the probability that there is a God, the nature of Jesus' behavior during his lifetime, and the quality of witness testimony after his death.

God overrides natural laws
“For someone dead for 36 hours to come to life again is, according to the laws of nature, extremely improbable,” Professor Swinburne said. “But if there is a God of the traditional kind, natural laws only operate because He makes them operate.”

Swinburne gave his notes and calculations to the audience so they could follow while he did the math.

“Given e and k, h is true if and only if c is true,” he said. “The probability of h given e and k is .97”.

In plain English, Professor Swinburne's calculations allegedly show that the probability that the Resurrection really happened is a staggeringly high 97 per cent.

Growth movement
Many other academics have weighed into the defence of the Christian faith, the newspaper said. Brian Leiter, a professor of law and philosophy at the University of Texas at Austin, noted, “It would be accurate to say that it's a growth movement.”

Christians, of course, do not need probability theory to convince them of the Resurrection. But this certainly is a good point to throw back at atheists and skeptics who say there is no chance that the Resurrection took place.
How can you believe the Bible if you can’t prove it’s true?
There is more evidence for the historicity of the New Testament than for the existence of Julius Caesar, yet no one doubts the facts surrounding Caesar. Early Christian writers did not dispute the Bible, and not one fact in it has been indisputably proved wrong.

How can you believe the Bible when you can't prove that it is true?

Well, how could you prove that there was a great fire in London in 1666? Or that Napoleon Bonaparte was defeated at the Battle of Waterloo? Or that it was Michelangelo who painted the Sistine Chapel?

How can you even prove that what you read in today's newspaper or heard on the radio is true?

The fact is, we can't prove that one-off events down through history happened at all. Maybe the person who told us about the events was mistaken. Maybe he or she was inaccurate, or was hallucinating, or didn't have all the facts, or was simply a liar.

Even if we are eyewitnesses to something, it is difficult to prove to others that the information we are telling them is exactly the way it happened. The world's law courts and jails throb with stories of guilty people being acquitted and innocent people being convicted because one side was more persuasive than the other (and persuasive doesn't mean accurate). Sometimes the courts convict people wrongly (such as Australian beauty consultant Schapelle Corby in Indonesia), and sometimes the penalty is death.

We take things on trust
We take most things on trust because we believe the words of those who were there — eyewitnesses. Or we take the word of people who say they obtained the information from eyewitnesses.

No one doubts the existence of Julius Caesar, yet there is less evidence for his existence than for the historicity of the New Testament. There are probably 5000 manuscript copies of portions of the New Testament in Greek, and at least 15,000 more in other languages. Nothing like this abundance exists for any other historical writing.

It should be noted too that many of the early Christian writers quoted profusely from the New Testament. Some of these writers lived very close to the time that the books of the New Testament were written, and would surely have refuted them if there was doubt about their authenticity.

No one has refuted the Book of Acts
This is especially so regarding the many historical details in the Bible's Book of Acts. Specific places, people, and events are mentioned throughout this amazing historical account of the early church, and yet there is no record of anyone refuting anything in the book. The eyewitnesses seem totally reliable.

Even more interestingly, not one major fact mentioned in the Bible has been indisputably proved to be untrue. There are many thousands of highly qualified scientists who believe that the Bible's account of creation is more in harmony with true science than is the theory of evolution.

And there have been countless scholars — historians, archaeologists, theologians, and others — who have come to believe that those who wrote the Bible were truly writing the Word of God. And that the Word of God is true.
How can I get eternal life and go to Heaven?
The Bible says that if you repent of your sins and receive Jesus Christ into your life as Lord and Savior, you will be saved from eternal punishment in Hell when you die. Here's how.

Did you know it is possible to know whether you have everlasting life? Do you know that, according to the Bible, if you repent of your sins and receive Jesus Christ into your life as Lord and Savior, you will be saved from eternal punishment in Hell when you die? Don't you think that is wonderful news?

Would you jump at the opportunity to accept a genuine offer on how to gain eternal life? If so, the Bible has some good news for you. When it comes to eternal life, God makes no distinction between the famous and the unknown, the rich and the poor, the unselfish hero and the repentant murderer.

It is not for us to know the hearts of others. But there is an indication that Death Row murderer Karla Faye Tucker gave her life to Christ before she was executed in February 1998. There is no indication that German dictator Adolf Hitler did. There is an indication that cowboy Roy Rogers and airplane pioneers the Wright brothers did, but not that revolutionaries Joseph Stalin or Karl Marx did. But we cannot be certain.
Can you genuinely say a prayer like the following? If you are sincere, God will immediately save you and give you everlasting life.

A guide to what to pray:

“Dear Father in Heaven, I realize that I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ died for my sins [sins are wrongdoings]. I am willing to turn from my sins and lead the life you want me to lead. I now ask Jesus Christ to come into my heart and I receive Him into my life as my personal Savior. I am willing, by God's grace, to follow and obey Christ as the Lord of my life.”
Scripture Edification For Eternal Life
Eternal life with God in heaven.
~Bible teaches us 5 things~

1 JOHN 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

  1. Heaven

ROMANS 6:23 For the wages of sin [is] death; but the gift of God [is] eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

EPHESIANS 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the GIFT of God: 2:9 NOT OF WORKS, lest any man should boast.

  2. Man

~Man is a sinner and...
ROMANS 2:23 Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God?

~Because of this man can NOT save him self
MATTHEW 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
~how ewer, in spite of our sin....

  3. God

~God is Merciful
JEREMIAH 31:3 The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, [saying], Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.

~Bat the same Bible wich tells us thatGod loves us, also tells us that God is Just and therefore must punish sin.
  He says
EXODUS 34:7 Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear [the guilty]; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth [generation].
EZEKIEL 18:4 Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.

~God solved this problem for us in the Person of

    4. Jesus Christ

~Bible tell us clearly that Hi is infinite GOD-MAN

JOHN 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. JOHN 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

~Jesus Christ came to earth, and lived sinles life but while on earth, what did He do? He died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins and rose from the gave to purchase a place for us in heaven

ISAIAH 53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

~Jesus Christ bore our sin in his body on the cross and now offers you eternal life(heaven) as a free gift. This gift is received by
    5. Faith ( what is the key that opens the door to heaven)
~2 things we must know no to mistake for saving faith.
1)Saving faith is not mere INTELLECTUAL ASSENT like believing
certain historical facts. The Bible says that the devil believes there is one God, so bilieving that here is one God is not saving faith.
2)Saving faith is not mere TEMPORAL FAITH, that is, trusting
God for temporary crises such as financial, family, or physical needs. Now these are good, and you should trust Christ for these, but they are not saving faith!

  * Saving faith is trusting in Jesus Christ alone for eternal life, it means resting upon CHRIST ALONE and what He HAS DONE reather than in what you or I have done to get us into heaven.
ACTS 16:31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

IF YOU WISH GIFT OF ETERNAL LIFE IT INVOLVES

~TRANSFER YOUR TRUST from what you have been doing to what Christ has done for you on His cross.
~ACCEPT CHRIST AS SAVIOR open the "door" to your heart and invite Him in.
    He says
REVELATION 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
~RECEIVE CHRIST AS LORD give Him the "drivers seat" and "controls", not the "back seat"
~REPENT be willing to TURN from anything that is not pleasing
to Him. He will revail His will to you as you grow in your relationship with Him
              WE HAVE A PROBLEM

~God loves us and dos not want to punish us
~But He is Just and must punish sin
KJV - ROMANS 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. ROM.10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
A guide to what to pray:

"Lord Jesus Christ, I know I am a sinner and i do not deserve eternal life. But, I believe You died and rose from the grave to purchase a place in haven for me. I repent of my sins and now place my trust in you for my salvation. I accept the free gift of eternal life"
If this prayer is sincere desire of your heart. Look at what Jesus promises to those who believe in Him:

JOHN 6:47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.
*If you have tryly repented (forsaken, turned away) from your sins.
*Placed your trust in Jesus Christ's sacriificial death
*And reccived the gift of eternal life
*You are now a child of God for! Forever!

WELCOME TO THE FAMILY OF GOD

JOHN 11:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name:

      TODAY IS YOUR SPIRITUAL BIRTHDAY!
A day you will always want to remember!

The Bible speaks of those who reccive eternal life in these words: JOHN 1:13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

What's next?....Just as a newborn baby grows physicaly, in somilar way you can grow spiritualy, by taking the following steps:
*READ THE BIBLE starting with the Gospel of John, read chapter each day.

1 PETER 2:2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

*PRAYER spend time each day talking with GOD

PHILIPPIANS 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

*WORSHIP regularly attend a church that honors Jesus Christ and teaches you the Bible.

PSALMS 122:1 Song of degrees of David.> I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.
JOHN 4:24 God [is] a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship [him] in spirit and in truth.

FELLOWSHIP with Christians who will help you grow in faith.
1JOHN   1:3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship [is] with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.

WITNESS tell others what Jesus Christ means to you!
ACTS 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

HOW RELIABLE ARE THE GOSPELS IN THE BIBLE?

There are many reasons that confirm the reliabilty and truth of the Gospel accounts in the Bible.

By James I. Nienhuis

SOME skeptics claim that the Gospels were written long after the Crucifixion, and so are unreliable.

However, Rome destroyed Jerusalem in A.D. 70, and no mention of that destruction is in the Gospels (although around A.D. 30 Jesus did predict the destruction). Therefore, the Gospels must have been written before A.D. 70 (within a few decades of the Crucifixion in A.D. 32).

The spread of the Gospel message was rapid after the Crucifixion, no doubt aided by these written Gospels and letters from the Apostles. Translations into other languages were early and often, with no discrepancies of facts. This demonstrates that the Gospels were consistent and written shortly after Christ's Crucifixion.

As the written Gospels were circulated in the decades after Jesus' incarnation, it is obvious that many people who witnessed the works, words, and Crucifixion of Jesus were still alive, and none of them objected to the accuracy of the circulating Gospels.

Confirmed by secular sources
Roman historians Suetonius and Tacitus confirm the historicity of Christ and the faith that He fostered, as does the Hebrew Talmud, which confirms that Jesus performed miracles.

Roman historian Thallus recorded that the sun went dark at midday during the time of the Crucifixion in A.D. 32, as the Bible describes. Thallus said that the darkness was due to a solar eclipse, however the Passover (when Christ was crucified) always occurs during full moons (when solar eclipses cannot happen). And the Bible describes three hours of darkness, whereas solar eclipses last only minutes. Therefore, the pagan Thallus accurately recorded the midday darkening, but not the cause. (The mechanism for the sky's darkening at the Crucifixion remains a mystery.)

Skeptics say that the Apostles may have conspired to fake the resurrection of Jesus, and that they deceitfully sought believers who would gullibly embrace a resurrection charade. This notion is illogical, because the Apostles would never die for what they knew to be a lie. Eleven of the twelve Apostles suffered violent martyrdoms for their public proclamations about the resurrected Christ — why then would they send themselves to a life of persecution and eventual martyrdom for something they could easily have disavowed?

Jewish officials who wanted the death of Jesus hadn't any motivation to fake Christ's resurrection, for that would have only confirmed the claims of the One that they wanted to dispatch. The Roman officials also hadn't any motivation for essentially the same reasons. Were the Roman sentries guarding the tomb of Jesus to blame for a faked resurrection? No, the sentries faced execution if they worked with the Apostles in a charade of defiance against Roman hegemony.

Life and death of Jesus are well documented
The Jews were expecting the Messiah at that time, but most were expecting a military hero who would throw off the yoke of Rome. Daniel 9 predicted that the “Anointed One” would be cut off (killed) four hundred and eighty-three years after the command to rebuild the Temple in Jerusalem (which was decreed by Cyrus of Persia around 450 B.C.). Therefore some Jews realized that Jesus truly is the Messiah.

Many Jews also realized that the circumstances of Christ's incarnation fulfilled the centuries-old prophecies about the Messiah in minute detail.

The life and physical death of Jesus Christ are historically well documented, and there are no logical reasons to think that any of the factions involved in the Crucifixion would have been motivated to fake the Resurrection. So we can safely say that Christ's Resurrection is a fact because there were hundreds of eyewitnesses of Jesus' resurrected body (and remember, the Gospels were not considered to be inaccurate by the Apostles' contemporaries in the decades after the Crucifixion).

DOES THE BIBLE TEACH THAT THE ERTH IS FLAT?

Quick-read this article:
The Bible does not teach that the earth is flat. It teaches that the earth is spherical. We did a study of 5000 writings from the time of Plato and Aristotle, and could not find one writer who said the earth is flat. We believe the flat-earth idea is a myth that flourished after Darwinists tried to discredit the Bible.

The Bible does not teach that the earth is flat. The flat-earth idea is a relatively recent invention that reached its peak only after Darwinists tried to discredit the Bible, according to a professor of history at the University of California in Santa Barbara.

Professor Jeffrey Burton Russell said in his book Inventing the Flat Earth, first released in the early 1990s, that up until the time of Columbus “nearly unanimous scholarly opinion pronounced the earth spherical”. Professor Russell said he believes that the flat-earth myth can largely be traced back to a story by Washington Irving, which relates a mythical account of Columbus defending a round earth against bigoted, misinformed clergy and university professors.

He said there is nothing in the documents from Christopher Columbus's time or in early accounts of Columbus's life that suggests any debate over the shape of the earth. He said the flat-earth myth flourished between 1870 and 1920, and had to do with the ideological setting created by struggles over evolution. It seemed an ideal way to dismiss the ideas of a religious past in the name of modern science.

Another source for the myth
We believe that another source for the myth was Jonathan Swift's Gulliver's Travels. In this satire of courts and politicians, Swift wrote:

They bury their dead with their hands directly downwards, because they hold an opinion, that in eleven thousand moons they are all to rise again, in which period the earth (which they conceive to be flat) will turn upside down …
The Bible actually teaches a spherical shape for the earth. In Isaiah 40:22 God is said to sit above “the circle of the earth” (the Hebrew word for circle can also mean a sphere). Also, in Luke 17:34–36 Christ's Second Coming is portrayed as occurring while some are asleep at night and others are working at daytime activities — which means a rotating earth with day and night at the same time.

What did the ancients believe?
American writer Thomas Bullfinch (1796–1867) said in the Introduction of his book Age of Fable that “The Greeks believed the earth to be flat and circular …”.

Yet when we check Bullfinch's statement with ancient Greek writings we find that his claim was not true of some of the greatest Greek thinkers, such as Aristotle and Socrates. The brilliant fourth century BC Greek philosopher Aristotle wrote in Book II, chapter 14 of his work Heavens (350 BC):

Of the position of the earth and of the manner of its rest or movement, our discussion may here end. Its shape must necessarily be spherical.
Aristotle, Augustine, and others
Aristotle reiterated this in his Meteorology, and gave reasons and calculations to show that the stars and the heavens are also spherical. “… the horizon always changes with a change in our position,” he wrote, “which proves that the earth is convex and spherical.”

Likewise, we find problems with a statement in W. Somerset Maugham's book, Of Human Bondage. In a conversation between Weeks and Philip in Maugham's book, we find this comment:

St. Augustine believed that the earth was flat and that the sun turned round it.
That's what Maugham wrote. But did Saint Augustine believe the earth was flat?

Augustine (AD 354–430) was one of the most prominent of the early church fathers. When we turn to Augustine's 22-volume treatise, The City of God (De Civitate Dei), we find that he didn't believe the earth to be flat at all. Maugham was wrong. Augustine did have problems accepting that there were populated lands on the other side of the earth — not a weird belief at all for the time, because Australia and New Zealand, for instance, were not known to exist — but he acknowledged that a spherical earth seemed to have been scientifically demonstrated.

Augustine wrote:

… although it be supposed or scientifically demonstrated that the world is of a round and spherical form, yet it does not follow that the other side of the earth is bare of water; nor even, though it be bare, does it immediately follow that it is peopled.
Other ancient accounts
Plato, a contemporary of Aristotle and disciple of Socrates, quoted Socrates as saying: “my conviction is that the earth is a round body in the center of the heavens” (Phaedo, 380 BC).

The Roman poet Ovid (43 BC–AD 17) wrote in AD 8 that God “moulded Earth into a spacious round” (Metamorphoses, Book the First, The Creation of the World).

Roman philosopher Plotinus (204–270) wrote in his Six Enneads (Eighth Tractate, On the Intellectual Beauty, section 7): “it is possible to give a reason why the earth is set in the midst and why it is round …”.

Flat-earth myth flourished in recent times
There might have been debate about a flat earth among some of the ancients, but from our own research of over 5000 books from ancient times we have to say that Professor Russell seems to be correct when he says the flat-earth myth flourished only recently. Claims that people used to believe that the earth is flat are mostly in modern writings. Charles Darwin made the claim in his Voyage of the Beagle, Rudyard Kipling used the idea in Kim, Arthur Conan Doyle used it in Lost World, and other writers of recent centuries have also used it (such as Thomas Paine, and Swift, Bullfinch and Maugham whom we quoted earlier). All are recent writings.

Compounding their misinformation, some evolutionists claim that creationists are “flat-earthers” or are equivalent to the “flat-earth society”. An evolutionist website says there was supposedly a man in California named Charles Johnson who ran a Flat Earth Society. But even if this is genuine, the writings of his they reproduce are quite irrational. Even though the writings mention belief in a Creator, they end by saying “In 30AD JC said …”, revealing a non-Christian disrespect for Jesus (non-Christians refer to Jesus Christ as “JC”, but Christians don't). To imply that creationists are flat-earthers linked to Johnson or his ideas is mischievous at best, but more likely simply dishonest. It is easier to find a link between evolutionists and astrologers.

As we have demonstrated, a look at some of the ancient writings themselves, including the Bible, leads us to believe that informed opinion among the ancients was that the earth was not flat, but was round or spherical.

And if some of the ancients did believe in a flat earth, it certainly was not an idea that got into the Bible. The Bible, as the Word of God, teaches the correct shape of the earth.
Where did the seven-day week come from?

Our week of seven days has no astronomical basis. It does not divide exactly into a month or a year or any other time measurement. Yet it works amazingly well.

The ancient Romans tried an eight-day week. French revolutionaries tried to get rid of the seven-day week, as did the Russian revolutionaries. The government of Sri Lanka also tried to abolish the seven-day week in the 1960s.

But they all brought it back!

Perfect length
One day of rest in eight makes the week seem too long. One day in six or five makes the week seem too short. But a day of rest in seven has worked out just right for civilizations down through the centuries.

Where did the seven-day week come from?

It came from God. In the book of Genesis in the Bible we read that God created the world in six days and rested on the seventh. In the book of Exodus (chapter 20) we find that God made this pattern for humans to follow. He even put it into the Ten Commandments He gave to Moses.

The seven-day week has worked remarkably well in every century and in every country because God gave it to us. Those who don't accept this explanation are left with no convincing explanation for its origin. God created us, so He knows what is best for us. That's why we have a seven-day week. When did the new millennium start?
Quick-read this article:
The new millennium started in the year 2000, not 2001. But because of calendar changes, it didn't really start on January 1.

When did the new millennium begin? Was it the year 2000 or the year 2001?

Some people think the new millennium started on January 1, 2001. Most think it began on January 1, 2000. The majority view is closer to being right.

Those who think the millennium started in 2001 are correct when they say there was no year 0. The calendar, as prepared by the monk Dionysius Exiguus in the sixth century, placed the year AD 1 directly after 1 BC. The 2001 supporters reason therefore that the first year was AD 1, and to get a century you need to finish 100 years later, at AD 100. If you finished at 99 you wouldn't have 100 years.

This leads the 2001ers to believe that each new century starts with a year ending in 1 (for example 501, 1001, 1901, 2001). And because millennia begin each 1000 years, they deduce that our newest millennium must have had its beginning in 2001.

Calendar started in 1 BC
But, according to Encyclopaedia Britannica's article headed “Calendar” in the Macropaedia:

“Dionysius took the year now called AD 532 as the first year of a new Great Paschal period and the year now labelled 1 BC as the beginning of the previous cycle. In the 6th century it was the general belief that this was the year of Christ's birth, and because of this Dionysius introduced numbering years consecutively through the Christian Era.”
So you see, even though the 2001ers are correct when they say there was no year zero, they are not correct when they assume the year AD 1 was the first year on the calendar we adopted. It was 1 BC according to the man who arranged this calendar, which means each new century begins in a 00 year, not a 01 year. If it began in a 01 year there would have been more than 100 years in the first century (1 BC to AD 100 is 101 years). But a century by definition is 100 years, so the idea is simply wrong.

1 BC not the year of Christ's birth
Many people know 1 BC is not the year of Jesus Christ's birth. Bible scholars agree Christ's birth took place several years before 1 BC. And it was not on December 25 (the Bible says shepherds were watching their flocks by night, and this doesn't happen in the cold winter around Bethlehem).

And there have been other changes to the calendar — astronomical considerations caused authorities to drop 11 days in October 1582, and there were changes from December and March to January as the first month of each year. So even January 1 is not the true date of the start of the millennium.

Dionysius Exiguus did make an error, but even so we date from his calculations, and he started the calendar cycle at 1 BC, which means the new millennium started in 2000 (but not necessarily on January 1). How long were the days of creation?
Quick-read this article:
The Bible says God created the universe in six days. Some people think that the “days” were long periods of time. But the clear meaning of the creation days is that they were literal, ordinary, 24-hour days. Nothing else.

The Book of Genesis in the Bible says God created the universe, and everything in it, in six days. Some people have tried to harmonize this description with the theory of evolution by suggesting that the “days” in Genesis must have been long periods of time, or ages.

But the Bible has its own amazing way of showing that the long “ages” idea is wrong. The days were real, ordinary, solar days of around 24 hours each.

Here is why:

Reasons why the
days were 24 hours
Genesis 1:14 says God created the lights to divide day from night, and to be for signs, for seasons, for days, and for years. If the days are ages, then what are the years?
If a day is an age, then what is a night? The concept becomes ludicrous when you try to stretch the length of a day.
Whenever the word “day” in the Bible is limited by a number (such as the first day, the fourth day, the sixth day) it always means a 24-hour day.
Whenever the word “day” is used with the phrase “evening and morning,” it always means an ordinary night-day cycle.
Among the Ten Commandments that God gave to Israel, recorded in Exodus 20, God said that His creation in six days followed by a day of rest was to be the pattern for the Israelites' working week: six days of labor followed by a day of rest. “Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work …,” God said, “For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is.”
Some people think that a day may mean a thousand years, because the Apostle Peter said that “one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day” (2 Peter 3:8).

But Peter did not say a day is a thousand years, but it is as a thousand years. He is saying that God is outside time, that a thousand years are no more significant than a day in God's eternal scheme of things. People who say Peter meant that a day is a thousand years are ignoring the second part of Peter's statement, which says a thousand years are as one day. How could we count how many days are in a thousand years if a day only means a thousand years? It becomes silly when you try to force a meaning that wasn't intended.

Not an indefinite period either
The passage about a day being as a thousand years has also been said to mean that a day is simply a long period of time. But that makes nonsense of Peter's statement. It would mean that Peter was saying that “a long period of time is a thousand years.” See how ridiculous things get when you stray from the straight meaning of Scripture?

The clear meaning of the days of creation is the obvious one: that they were literal, ordinary, 24-hour days. Nothing else.
Did NASA find Joshua's “missing day”? Or is it a hoax?
Quick-read this article:
The story that scientists have verified Joshua's long day is a hoax.

People have been circulating a rumor since the late 1800s that scientists have confirmed the “long day” recorded in the Bible's Book of Joshua. (Joshua 10:13)

Bible-believing Christians, of course, believe the miracle of the long day because God's Word says it. They don't need anyone to tell them it is true.

But for some reason, a story infiltrated Christian circles that scientists had been calculating back in time and found that a day in history was missing. Then one of them remembered the Bible's account in Joshua that “the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day.”

Impossible to find missing day
Had science confirmed Scripture? No, the story is a hoax. We will explain why it is impossible to find a missing day 3500 years ago.

First, as Christians, we want to make it clear that we believe the Bible's account of the long day. It is a wonderful miracle, and is no more difficult for God than any other miracle (such as creating the universe in the first place).

Second, whether the story about scientists' confirming it is true or not has no bearing on the truth of the Bible's historical account. There are legends from the other side of the world about a “long night” that are more reliable than the story that scientists have found a missing day.

Third, we must point out that no day was “missing” in the Joshua account. The Book of Joshua describes a long day, not a missing day. The daylight lasted about twice as long as usual so that Joshua's army would have victory over the Amorites, and so God's promise to Israel about entering the Promised Land would be fulfilled.

Reasons to disbelieve
Why do we think the story that NASA scientists have found a missing day is a hoax?

One reason is that the story was around long before NASA and the modern space program. Creationist Harry Rimmer, in a 1936 book titled The Harmony of Science and Scripture, mentions that Professor Totten from Yale wrote a book in 1890 about scientists corroborating the “lost day”. Although Rimmer believed it, the story is untrue.

It seems that as the years have passed, this story entered the space age. NASA found itself labelled as the group that discovered the lost day. NASA has repeatedly denied the story.

Proof the story is wrong
How could anyone know that a day was missing in the past?

Let's say Wednesday last week was missing. For some reason we just went from Tuesday to Thursday. Astronomers know Wednesday was missing because they can check the relative positions of the moon, sun, and planets for the whole week and for years before and after.

The heavenly bodies are always in predictable places. God is the Master of large-scale organization. He gave us the seven-day week to follow His pattern of six days' work and a day of rest. The phases of the moon are highly predictable. Computer charts based on planetary orbits and rotation speed show us where the heavenly bodies were last Monday and Tuesday, and where they should have been last Wednesday and Thursday.

If we check Tuesday's chart with Thursday's chart and find that the planets, sun and moon on Thursday were only 24 hours further advanced than they were on Tuesday, we could say Wednesday was missing. (But it's more likely that Thursday was Wednesday anyway, because notice that nothing was missing.)

Missing day is a hoax
The main thing you'll notice from this is that to show a day is missing you need to know where the planets, sun, and moon were before the missing day and after the missing day. If you don't know where they were before and after you won't know whether anything unusual took place.

And that is the big problem with finding a missing day during Joshua's time around 1500 BC. We don't have daily planetary records from then. Sure, we can use a computer to show where they should have been, but we have nothing to check them against to show if anything is out of place.

The account in the Bible is genuine. But the story that scientists have found a missing day is a hoax.
How old is the earth according to the Bible? Quick-read this article:
The Bible is clear that Adam, the first man, lived only 6000 years ago. Adam was created on the sixth day of God's Creation Week, so the earth must be only 6000 years old too.

The following timeline by Theodore Pederson appeared in The Christian News, March 26, 2001, page 18.

How old is the earth?
If we go back 500 years, we come to the time of Martin Luther (born in 1483), and Columbus, who “sailed the ocean blue in 1492.”
If we go back 1000 years, we come to the time of Leif Ericson, Christian explorer, who preached Christ to pagans. (World Book, 1983, vol.6, page 270.)
If we go back 2000 years, we come to the birth of Jesus Christ. Our calendar is dated from His birth.
If we go back 3000 years, we come to the time of David and Solomon; they ruled Israel about 1000 BC.
If we go back 4000 years, we come to the time of Abraham (2000 BC), ancestor of Arabs and Jews.
If we go back 5000 years, we come to the time of Enoch, who “walked with God 300 years … and God took him [into Heaven].”
If we go back 6000 years, we come to the time of Creation, and Adam and Eve (4004 BC). Luke, evangelist and historian, records Adam as the first man (Luke 3:38).
The earth is about 6000 years old. Let God's people rejoice in Him who made them! (Psalm 149:2)
We would add that although many people don't accept this timeline of history, they have difficulty deciding exactly when they would start to disagree with it.

Was Jesus Christ real? The Bible says he was, and no serious historian doubts it.
Was King David real? The Bible says he was. Again, there is no reason to doubt it.
Was Abraham real? The Bible says he was. There seems no reason to doubt this either.
Was Enoch real? The Bible says he was. There is no reason to think the Bible has suddenly lapsed into fiction when the other people were genuine historical figures.
Was Adam real? Well, Enoch was a son of Cain, who was a son of Adam. So if Enoch was real there is no reason to think that his father Cain wasn't, or that his grandfather Adam wasn't. They were only two generations away.
And Adam was the first man, created in the first week of the earth's existence.

He lived about 6000 years ago.
Could God have created through evolution?
Quick-read this article:
The best way to find out whether God used evolution as His method of creation is to ask an eyewitness to the event. The Bible tells us that God was the eyewitness, and He tells us He created — He did not set the world to evolve.

God could have used evolution to form life on earth (theistic evolution) if He had wanted to. But He didn't. If the Bible truly is the revealed Word of God, as Christians believe, then what God tells us in the Bible must be true.

He tells us He created everything in six days — not “evolved” them over billions of years. He tells us He created the various kinds of animals and plants “after their kind.” This means He created mature animals and plants ready to reproduce more of their own kind. He tells us He created the first man from the dust of the ground — not from an ape-like creature.

When reporters from newspapers or television stations want to find out what happened, they try to find an eyewitness who can tell them. In the same way, if we want to find out what happened at the beginning of the world, we should find out what the eyewitness says.

Eyewitness says creation!
God the Creator was the only eyewitness, and He tells us in the Bible's book of Genesis that He created things — they did not evolve.

Charles Darwin's theory of evolution was never meant to harmonize with the Bible, but to replace it. Encyclopaedia Britannica says in its biography of Darwin: “There was no place in Darwin's world for divine intervention …” In fact Darwin put the point in strong terms in his book The Descent of Man: “But the time will before long come, when it will be thought wonderful that naturalists, who were well acquainted with the comparative structure and development of man and other mammals, should have believed that each was the work of a separate act of creation.”

Prominent anatomist and anthropologist Sir Arthur Keith was another to recognize that Darwin saw evolution not as something to combine with creation, but a way to replace it. Sir Arthur wrote the Introduction to the Everyman's Library edition of The Origin of Species (E. P. Dutton and Company 1928): “Darwin's aim was to replace a belief in special creation by a belief in evolution and in this he did succeed, as every modern biologist will readily admit.”

Consider this major problem: Someone who believes that God used evolution is in a scientific and scriptural “no man's land.” Evolutionary textbooks and encyclopedias, like Darwin, don't use God as an explanation for the evolution theory. Likewise, the Bible doesn't imply in the slightest that evolution is an explanation for God's creation. Those who say the two ideas can be combined are being naïve.

Skeptic sees the problem
Even skeptics will usually agree that it is impossible to harmonize the Bible's account of creation with evolution. We found this comment on a skeptics' bulletin board early in 2002:

“I don't see how you can reconcile the facts of evolution and an old earth with Genesis … I mean really, Adam and Eve, though fictional, are described as real people in Bible genealogies, as is Noah. There's nothing in the creation and flood stories which indicates it's to be treated differently from stories of identical context like David and Goliath, Elijah going into heaven, and so on.

“Some say the creation story happened over millions of years. But it says 'there was evening and there was morning, the _th (whatever) day'. Seems to mean a real day. Also the order of creation is way out of line: sun & stars after the earth and vegetation; flying creatures before land ones; domestic animals (cattle) created before humans, just to name some. And how do you reconcile billions of years of death and suffering of animals with a perfect, death-free creation?”

Christians who say they believe the Bible but then try to water it down by saying they also believe evolution and an old earth are doing great damage to Christianity. That kind of Christian will never influence skeptics who can see through their contradictory arguments.

So theistic evolutionists — those who think that God used evolution to create the world — are really stretching the facts, and are left trying to defend a theory that harmonizes with neither textbook evolution nor with the Bible.
What is the eye of a needle in the Bible?
What did Jesus mean by a camel going through the needle's eye?
Quick-read this article:
People have tried to water down Jesus' statement about it being harder for a rich man to enter Heaven than it is for a camel to go through the eye of a needle. Some wrongly interpret the eye of the needle to be a small gate entering the city. Others wrongly interpret camel as meaning rope. But Jesus used a wonderfully clever illustration and meant what He said.

Jesus said, “It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God” (Matthew 19:24. Similar verses are in Mark 10:25 and Luke 18:25). What is the eye of a needle, or a needle's eye?

Many people have tried to explain this phrase. We believe it means exactly what it says, and does not need watered-down explanations to make it easier for a rich man to enter Heaven. We will show you why.

Small gate?
Some say the needle's eye, or the eye of the needle, was a small gate at the entrance of Jerusalem and other cities. When the city-keepers had locked the main gates, camels and their owners who arrived after hours could squeeze through this gate.

But scholars have searched in vain to find ancient evidence that people referred to any of these gates as “the eye of a needle”.

Camel means rope?
Others have said the Aramaic word for camel was the same as the word for rope, and that Jesus meant it was hard for rope to go through the eye of a needle. Well, Jesus did speak Aramaic, but again, reliable evidence is weak that this is what He meant.

All these other explanations downplay the wonderfully memorable and clever illustration that Jesus came up with to teach the difficulty of getting into Heaven if you are loaded with loot. He was talking to the rich young ruler at the time, and the man was sad at hearing this because he was very rich.

He would hardly have been sad knowing that camels always got through the city gate. And he would hardly be sad knowing that anyone could untwist a piece of rope to thread it through the eye of a sewing needle.

Impossible means impossible
What the rich young ruler was sad about was that Jesus said it would be impossible for him to enter the kingdom of God because of his riches.

The bystanders recognized this is what he meant, because they said, “Who then can be saved?” (Luke 18:26). And Jesus replied, “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God” (Luke 18:27).

This kills the “little gate” theory, because that was not impossible. And it kills the “camel rope” theory, because that was not impossible either.

What these verses say are that:

The rich man had to be willing to give up his possessions.
Only God could save him.
Rich people can be saved like anyone else if they do what God wants. Joseph of Arimathea was wealthy. And Paul said in Romans 2:11 that God doesn't show favouritism. Anyone can be saved.

The illustration of the camel going through the eye of a needle was perfect for those He was speaking to. His explanation that what is impossible for men is possible with God shows that rich men can be saved and enter Heaven. But only if they put their faith in Christ rather than in their riches.

Did Adam really live to be 930 years old?
Adam, the first man, could have lived forever (Genesis 3:20). But he sinned by disobeying God and brought death upon himself and all humankind.

However, God created Adam perfect, so Adam didn't have the harmful health problems we have today (mutant genes, illnesses, and so on.).

In fact, all the early people lived long lives, with Methuselah living even longer than Adam (969 years).

Life spans gradually decreased as more illnesses and mutations accumulated, until they reached today's average of about 70 years.

Another reason for such good health at that time may have been that the whole world's temperature seems to have been sub-tropical to temperate. There is evidence of this because even under the ice in Antarctica and Alaska lush forests and warm-climate trees are known to have once grown.

Adam's 930 years were real years, not just months as some suggest. If they were months, then Mahalaleel, who in Genesis 5:15 had his first son at 65 years, and Enoch, who became the father of Methuselah also at 65 years (Genesis 5:21), would have been fathers when they were only five years old!
Do men have fewer ribs than women?
After all, God took a rib from Adam to make Eve.

A misconception among some Christians is that men have fewer ribs than women. They wrongly believe this is what the Bible teaches.

What are the facts?

The Bible's Book of Genesis (2:21, 22) says God created the first woman this way: “And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam [the first man], and he slept; and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in stead thereof. And the rib which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman …”

Some people think that this passage implies that:

hypnosis is all right for Christians (they are right)
because the first man lost his rib, all men since have one fewer rib (they are wrong).
The best way to test this belief is to compare a male's skeleton with a female's. When you do this, you find that men and women have 12 pairs of ribs each.

The belief that a lost rib, or a cut-off thumb, or a chopped-off tail, could pass from parent to child was a theory, long-discredited, derived from the ideas of French biologist Lamarck.

Generations of Jewish, Muslim, and Christian males have circumcised their sons, but they never give birth to already circumcised sons.

For centuries some breeds of dogs have had their tails cropped, but they don't give birth to pups with their tails docked already.

If you have to have a finger or toe amputated, it would not mean you would produce children with a finger or toe missing. Likewise, if a human baby is born with a tail, it does not imply they evolved from monkeys.

So a rib taken from Adam does not mean that any of his sons and daughters would have a rib missing. Men and women have the same number of ribs.
How did Adam name all the world’s animals in one day?
Genesis 2:20 says Adam named the animals on the sixth day of creation week.

Many people say he couldn't name every animal in the world in just one day.

They are right — but the Bible doesn't say he named all the animals. It says he named three groups — the cattle, the fowl of the air, and the beasts of the field.

It doesn't take long to name something “dinosaur”, “dog”, “horse”, “owl”, etc. He named only the major “kinds”, or groups. There are a lot of species of owl, for instance, but naming them all owls would be sufficient.

Adam didn't have to go out looking for those animals to name either. Genesis 2:19 says God brought them to him. And remember — God created Adam perfect, so Adam's brain would have been sharper than ours is. He probably could have named every major group of cattle, bird, and beast of the field in hours.

Where was the Garden of Eden?
The Garden of Eden was Adam and Eve's first home. The Bible tells us they were the first man and woman on earth. Eden is an ancient Hebrew word meaning delight, or pleasure, which suggests the Garden of Eden was a Garden of Delights.

God put Adam in the Garden of Eden to cultivate it and look after it, for God made it to “grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food” (Genesis 2:9). There were also two special trees here — the tree of life and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

Adam and Eve could eat from every tree except the tree of knowledge of good and evil. God told Adam that if he ate from it he would die. espite this command and warning, Adam and Eve did eat from the tree, so God expelled them from the garden — presumably so they could no longer eat from the tree of life.

Eden cannot be found today because the worldwide flood of Noah's time destroyed the landscape of the ancient world.

The book of Genesis in the Bible (chapter 2, verses 10–14) mentions Ethiopia, Assyria, and the rivers Tigris and Euphrates, which are known today. But these are not the same places that existed at the time of the Garden of Eden.

It is most likely that Noah's family or descendants named the modern rivers and the lands of Ethiopia and Assyria in memory of those that were destroyed in the Flood.
How to tell time from your flowers with a floral clock

One of the most remarkable gardens we have seen contained a clock made from living flowers. The fragrance and colors of this garden made it a delight to visit.

The floral clock was truly enchanting. It had 12 divisions for the hours, and each hour would see the flowers in one of the divisions open or close. People who knew how it worked could leave their wristwatches at home when they visited this garden.

Gardeners have long known that certain flowers open or close at the same time every day. But it was eighteenth century Swedish botanist and creationist Carl Linnaeus (pronounced lin-AY-us) who really put this knowledge to work.

Garden of delights
Linnaeus compiled a list of flowers with the times they opened and closed. He then planted a garden displaying local flowers that were reliable even on cloudy and cold days.

His floral clock idea has been adapted in many gardens since. It shows just one of the remarkable ways humans have been able to use stunning design features in God's creation.

A number of schools and communities are now taking up this idea. If you would like the names of some flowers to use in your clock, click the link below.

How big was Noah’s Ark?
Quick-read this article:
Noah's Ark was taller than a 3-story building and had a deck area the size of 36 lawn tennis courts. Its length was 300 cubits (450 feet, or 135 meters); its width was 50 cubits (75 feet, or 22.5 meters); it had three stories and its height was 30 cubits (45 feet, or 13.5 meters).

Noah's Ark was huge! If you wrongly imagine the Ark looked like some of those little cartoon arks in children's story books, with a couple of elephants' trunks and giraffes' necks sticking out the top, think again.

Genesis 6:15 in the Bible tells us the Ark's dimensions were at least 135 meters long (300 cubits), 22.5 meters wide (50 cubits), and 13.5 meters high (30 cubits). That's 450 feet long, 75 feet wide, and 45 feet high! It could have been larger because several larger-sized cubits were used. But the 45-centimeter (18-inch) cubit is long enough to show the enormous size of the Ark.

(A cubit was the length of a man's arm from fingertips to elbow.)

Higher than a 3-story building!
Noah's Ark was three stories high (Genesis 6:16). Its total deck area was equivalent to the area of about 20 standard college basketball courts or 36 lawn tennis courts. The world had to wait until AD 1884 before the Ark's size was exceeded, when the Italian liner Eturia was built.

The rectangular dimensions of the Ark show an advanced design in ship-building. Its length of six times its width and 10 times its height would have made it amazingly stable on the ocean. Remember it was made more for floating than sailing, because it wasn't headed anywhere. The famous rock formation near Mount Ararat that some think is Noah's Ark is almost certainly not! The Ark was made to withstand a turbulent ocean voyage, not to be at a certain place at a certain time.

Interestingly, British civil and mechanical engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel built a steamship (the Great Britain) in 1843 that had almost the same proportions as the Ark, although it was smaller. This was regarded as a remarkable feat of Victorian and maritime engineering. The Great Britain was the first large vessel to be propelled by a screw propeller.

Babylonian Ark fails test
The ancient Babylonians had a flood story too. It may have been a corrupted version of the biblical account. The ark in the Babylonian story was shaped like a cube, which would had made it unseaworthy.

This shows the difference between truth and badly recorded legends. The Bible's Ark was able to carry all the animals God sent to Noah, it was wonderfully seaworthy, it landed on a mountain that is still identifiable today, and the whole story is credible scientifically.

Because of this, there are many thousands of scientists who believe the Bible's account of the Ark and the worldwide Flood, but none (as far as we know) who seriously defends the Babylonian story as scientifically trustworthy.

Christian teachers and homeschoolers:
Want an interesting student activity?
If you want a classroom activity for Christian schools, you can show your students how big Noah's Ark was by measuring it out on your school grounds or in a large park.

First get your students to measure out a cubit, which is the unit of length the Bible uses. Cubits were roughly the length of a man's arm, although they varied from about 45 centimeters (18 inches) to 56 centimeters (22 inches). A 45cm (18-inch) cubit will show the minimum length, although you can use a longer one if you have room.

When you have your cubit (it can be marked on anything, but a piece of wood or pipe cut to size would do), measure out 300 of them to show the length of Noah's Ark. Get some students to stand between the two points. Do the same with the width, which was 50 cubits. If you can also measure 30 cubits upwards (say on your school's wall if it is at least four stories high, or to the top of a tall tree), all the better.

When the students see how huge the Ark was, reinforce some of the points given in the article above. You could also read over the Bible account of the Flood from the book of Genesis. You could even make a hollow cube out of cardboard or paper to represent the Babylonian “ark”, and show how unstable it would be in the water compared to the real Ark.

Your students may also like to make their own model ark out of wood or cardboard using a scale model of the dimensions given in the Bible (Genesis 6:14 onwards). The Bible model has been made and thoroughly tested many times and has been found to be extremely stable.

Ark Builders.com has even simpler models to make.
How to be born again, saved (from hell and the lake of fire)

Yeshua / Jesus said:

John.3:[3]Yeshua / Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

[7] Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

Sinners Prayer

My Lord and my God, have mercy upon my soul, a sinner. I believe that Yeshua the Messiah / Jesus the Christ is the Son of the living God. I believe that He died on the cross and shed His precious blood for the forgiveness of all my sins. I believe that God raised Yeshua / Jesus from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit and that He sits on the right hand of God making intercession for my sins. I open up the door of my heart and I invite You into my heart, Lord Yeshua / Jesus. Wash all of my sins away in the precious blood that You shed for me on the cross at Calvary. I accept you by faith into my heart. You will not turn me away, Lord Yeshua / Jesus; You will save my soul. I know because Your Word, the Holy Bible, says so. Your Word says that You will turn no one away, and that includes me. Therefore, I know that You have heard me, and I know that You have answered me, and I know that I am saved. And I thank You, Lord Yeshua / Jesus, for saving my soul. Raise your hands and praise and thank the Lord!

John.5 [24] Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

1John.3[14] We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.

No man can come unto Me unless the Father draw him and ...

Yeshua / Jesus is our Intercessor

Heb.7:25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

Rom.8[26] Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

[27] And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

[34] Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

Forgives All Sins

Heb.7: 25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
KJV Exodus 20
[1] And God spake all these words, saying,
[2] I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
[3] Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
[4] Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
[5] Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
[6] And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
[7] Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
[8] Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
[9] Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
[10] But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
[11] For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
[12] Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
[13] Thou shalt not kill.
[14] Thou shalt not commit adultery.
[15] Thou shalt not steal.
[16] Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
[17] Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.
[18] And all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it, they removed, and stood afar off.
[19] And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die.
[20] And Moses said unto the people, Fear not: for God is come to prove you, and that his fear may be before your faces, that ye sin not.
[21] And the people stood afar off, and Moses drew near unto the thick darkness where God was.
[22] And the LORD said unto Moses, Thus thou shalt say unto the children of Israel, Ye have seen that I have talked with you from heaven.
[23] Ye shall not make with me gods of silver, neither shall ye make unto you gods of gold.
[24] An altar of earth thou shalt make unto me, and shalt sacrifice thereon thy burnt offerings, and thy peace offerings, thy sheep, and thine oxen: in all places where I record my name I will come unto thee, and I will bless thee.
[25] And if thou wilt make me an altar of stone, thou shalt not build it of hewn stone: for if thou lift up thy tool upon it, thou hast polluted it.
[26] Neither shalt thou go up by steps unto mine altar, that thy nakedness be not discovered thereon.

10:2 Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly [is] great, but the labourers [are] few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.

                                KJV - LUKE 3

3:16 John answered, saying unto [them] all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire:
3:17 Whose fan [is] in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and will gather the wheat into his garner; but the chaff he will burn with fire unquenchable.

                                  KJV - PSALMS 1

1:1 Blessed [is] the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
1:2 But his delight [is] in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
1:3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
1:4 The ungodly [are] not so: but [are] like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
1:5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
1:6 For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

                                    KJV - HOSEA 13

13:4 Yet I [am] the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for [there is] no saviour beside me.

53:1 chief Musician upon Mahalath, Maschil, [A Psalm] of David.> The fool hath said in his heart, [There is] no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: [there is] none that doeth good.
                                          KJV - LUKE 15

15:3 And he spake this parable unto them, saying,

15:4 What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?

15:5 And when he hath found [it], he layeth [it] on his shoulders, rejoicing.

15:6 And when he cometh home, he calleth together [his] friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.

15:7 I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.
                                  KJV - MATTHEW 12

12:1 At that time Jesus went on the sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples were an hungred, and began to pluck the ears of corn, and to eat.

12:2 But when the Pharisees saw [it], they said unto him, Behold, thy disciples do that which is not lawful to do upon the sabbath day.

12:3 But he said unto them, Have ye not read what David did, when he was an hungred, and they that were with him;

12:4 How he entered into the house of God, and did eat the shewbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but only for the priests?

12:5 Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are blameless?

12:6 But I say unto you, That in this place is [one] greater than the temple.

12:7 But if ye had known what [this] meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless.

12:8 For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day.

12:9 And when he was departed thence, he went into their synagogue:

12:10 And, behold, there was a man which had [his] hand withered. And they asked him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath days? that they might accuse him.

12:11 And he said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift [it] out?

12:12 How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days.

12:13 Then saith he to the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched [it] forth; and it was restored whole, like as the other.

8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

                                    KJV - JOHN 6
6:35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

6:47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.

6:48 I am that bread of life.

                                      KJV - JOHN 10

10:7 Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.

10:8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.

10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have [it] more abundantly.

10:11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

10:12 But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.

10:13 The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.

10:14 I am the good shepherd, and know my [sheep], and am known of mine.

10:15 As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.

10:16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, [and] one shepherd.

10:17 Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.

10:18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

                                  KJV - JOHN 15

15:1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.

15:2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every [branch] that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

15:3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.

15:4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

15:5 I am the vine, ye [are] the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

15:6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast [them] into the fire, and they are burned.

15:7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

15:8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

15:9 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.

15:10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

15:11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and [that] your joy might be full.

15:12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

15:14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.

15:15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and [that] your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

15:17 These things I command you, that ye love one another.

15:18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before [it hated] you.

15:19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

15:20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.

15:21 But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me.

15:22 If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin.

15:23 He that hateth me hateth my Father also.

15:24 If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father.

15:25 But [this cometh to pass], that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause.

15:26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, [even] the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

15:27 And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.
