The Bible says that you can know for sure that if you die you will go to heaven. If you have been taught and believe that no one can know, then you have rejected the truth of the Word of God. I John 5:13 says, "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God: that ye may know that ye have eternal life..."
Repentance toward God
Repent so that you may have ever lasting life with the Christ for the Eternaty
Jude 1:21Keep yourselves in the love of God,
looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
Revelation 3:19As many as I love,
I rebuke and chasten:
be zealous therefore, and repent.
I can only imagine what it will be like
When I walk by Your side
I can only imagine what my eyes will see
When Your face is looking at me

Surrounded by Your glory, what will
My heart feel
Will I dance for You Jesus or in awe of You
Be still
Imagine, I can only imagine

I can only imagine all creation bowed down
The whole universe saying Your name out loud
I can only imagine all our broken lives
Resurrected in the healing light

Surrounded by Your glory, what will my
Heart feel
Will I dance for You Jesus or in awe of You
Be still
Will I stand in your presence or to my knees
Will I fall
Will I sing hallelujah, Will I be able to
Speak at all
I can only imagine, I can only imagine

Surrounded by forgiveness, what will my
Heart feel
Will I dance for You Jesus or in awe of
You be still
Will I stand in your presence or to my
Knees will I fall
Will I sing hallelujah, will I be able to speak at all

I can only imagine, Oh I can only imagine
I can only, I can only, I can only imagine
I can only imagine, just imagine
I can only imagine, imagine
~~
Sing the wondrous love of Jesus
Sing His mercy and His grace
In the mansions bright and blessed
He'll prepare for us a place
Book of Mark 1:[14]...Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,[15] And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
God's Plan Of Salvation

Most people have heard such terms as being born again, converted, or saved. There are even many people who have had a personal experience of salvation through Jesus Christ. However, there are still multitudes of people who never have accepted this free gift from God. Often people do not understand the purpose of salvation or how it can be obtained. Hopefully the following will help answer some of the most commonly asked questions about salvation.

What is salvation?

Salvation is the free gift of eternal life that is made possible only through Jesus Christ. John 3:16-17 KJV states, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved." The apostle Paul tells us in Romans 6:23 KJV, "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Salvation is not limited to any denomination, race, gender, or age, but it is available for everyone. "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Romans 10:13 KJV).

Why do you need salvation?

Mankind needs salvation because it is the only way to get to Heaven. Jesus said in John 3:3 KJV, "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." Everyone will stand before God after death has occurred. "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment" (Hebrews 9:27 KJV). Those who have not been saved will spend eternity separated from God. "And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire" (Revelation 20:15 KJV). The penalty of sin that is passed on to all of mankind is death. Jesus Christ became the atonement for all sin. He took our place and died on a cross. Those who accept this plan, which is made possible only by Jesus, will receive forgiveness for their sins and obtain salvation.

How do you obtain salvation?

In order to be saved you must first realise that you are a sinner and that you cannot make it to heaven on your own good merit. "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one" (Romans 3:10 KJV). "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23 KJV). Secondly, you must recognize that salvation is made possible only by the grace of God. "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast" (Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV). Finally, you must believe in your heart that Jesus Christ died for your sins and that he was raised from the dead. In Romans 10:9-10 KJV, Paul gives specific instructions for salvation. "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." In the sixteenth chapter of Acts, the Philippian jailor asked Paul and Silas what he must do in order to be saved. Their response to him still applies today. "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved" (Acts 16:31 KJV).

Every Person Must Know That...

I.   ...HE IS LOST & IS A SINNER.

Romans 3:10 - As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
Romans 3:23 - For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
I John 1:8 -   If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
Isaish 64:6 -   But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
Ecclesiastes 7:20 - For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.
Romans 5:12 -   Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

II.   ...HE IS UNDER THE WRATH OF GOD BECAUSE OF HIS SIN
& THAT THE PRICE OF SIN IS JUDGMENT,
WRATH AND HELL.

Romans 6:23 - For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Revelation 20:14 - And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
John 3:36 -   He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
Romans 1:18 -   For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
Ezekiel 18:4b -   the soul that sinneth, it shall die.

III.   ...HE CANNOT SAVE HIMSELF

Titus 3;5,6 - Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
Romans 3:20 - Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
Ephesians 2:8,9 -   For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Romans 11:6 - And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.
Galatians 2:16 - Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
Romans 6:23 - For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
I John 5:11 -   And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

IV.   ...ONLY JESUS CHRIST CAN SAVE HIM

Hebrews 2:9 -   But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
John 14:6 - Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
I Timothy 2:5 -   For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
Acts 4:12 - Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Hebrews 7:25 - Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
Hebrews 10:10 - By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
Hebrews 10:19 -   Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,
I John 1:7 - But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
John 10:9 -   I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
John 12:46 -   I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.
John 8:24 -   I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.
John 6:51 -   I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

V.   ...HE IS SAVED BY FAITH IN JESUS

Acts 16:31 - And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
John 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:18 - He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
John 3:36 - He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
Galatians 3:26 -   For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
John 1:12 - But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
Romans 10:9 -   That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Romans 3:28 - Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

...this is the witness of God
which he hath testified of his Son.

He that believeth on the Son of God
hath the witness in himself:
he that believeth not God hath made him a liar;
because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.

And this is the record,
that God hath given to us eternal life,
and this life is in his Son.

He that hath the Son hath life;
and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

These things have I written unto you
that believe on the name of the Son of God;
that ye may know that ye have eternal life,
and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
I John 5:9b-13
~ The Bible refers to eternal life as a relationship with God that never ends.   Just as death means physical and spiritual separation from God forever; eternal life starts when a person establishes a relationship with God and goes on forever.   No sin can end it. ~
1 John 3:14
We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.
~The Lord Jesus Christ paid the full price for the salvation of your soul.   He " gave Himself for our sins"~
Galatians, chapter 1:4) Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father: 5) To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

~Jesus, the son of God, "loved me, and gave himself for me.~
Galatians, chapter 2:20) I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

~Now because "by His own blood He entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us." there remains NO price for us to pay!~
Hebrews, chapter 9:12) Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

~We are "justified freely by His grace"~
Romans, chapter 3:24) Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

~"it is finised:"~
John, chapter 19:30)When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost. Eternal Life is
a FREE Gift,
through our Lord
  and Savior
JESUS CHRIST

The way of Eternal Life
Salvation is at the same time both very simple, and yet complex. For those of you who are Believers, you understand what I am talking about. For those who are not, lets stick to the simple.
Contrary to popular belief, there is no 'set' formula for being saved; one does not say some "magic words", or do some 'special ceremony' to win favor with God. It consists of God drawing you near (you would experience this as a change of heart towards God), your eyes being opened to sin in your life, and recognizing how helpless you are to redeem yourself. At this stage your soul cries out to God "Please, save me!". Belief that God can and will save you, is what happens next. By confessing with your mouth "Jesus is Lord" and believing in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you shall be saved (Rom. 10:9); whoever calls on the name of the Lord, shall be saved (Rom. 10:13); consequently, faith comes by hearing; and hearing by the Word of God [the Bible](Rom 10:17). For it is by grace you have been saved, thru Faith; and this not of yourself, it is the gift of God. not by works, so that no one can boast (Eph 2:8,9). If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word has no place in our lives (1 John 1:8-10).

It all comes down to belief. Chose this day who you wanna serve. 1   Corinthians 15:56-58 1 Corinthians 9:26-27                   1 John 1:8-10 How to Have Eternal Life! The Bible tells us in I John 5:13 that we can know for sure that we have eternal life: a home in heaven. If you don't know for sure where you will spend eternity, please study the verses below. Would you like to know that you will go to heaven? There's no hope without Jesus

Romans 3:23
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death...

Romans 5:12
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

Romans 2:6
Who will render to every man according to his deeds: You can't get to heaven by works Ephesians 2:8,9
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Romans 3:20
Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. Trust in Jesus for salvation Romans 10:13
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Romans 10:9,10
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Now you can have a secure hope Romans 6:23b ...but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 8:1
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. Start living for Jesus Romans 12:1
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

Romans 6:1,2
What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?   ~   explore what the Bible teaches about God himself;

  ~   understand better the concept of the Trinity;

~   discuss the different ways that God reveals Himself to us and relates to us. I. THE ESSENCE OF GOD
“God is spirit, and his worshippers must worship in spirit and in truth” (John 4:24)

1. God is spirit

~     without physical form

~     like the wind – invisible, gentle, powerful

~     awesome in holiness (Isaiah 6:1-5)

2. God can manifest Himself in different ways

~     as a man (Genesis 18:1-33)

~     as an angel (Genesis 16:7-14)

~     as a fire (Exodus 3:2-6)

3. God is one

~     the Lord is one (Deuteronomy 6:4)

~     none other like Him (Isaiah 44:6-8)

~     not lone but a compound unity (Genesis 1:27; 2:24)

~     plural name and plural pronoun (Genesis 1:26,27)

Part of the very essence of God is relationship in unity: marriage depicts this; the Church reveals this (John 17:10,11,22,23)

II. THE PERSONS OF GOD
“May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all” 2 Corinthians 13:14

1. The Father

~     lavishes love (1 John 3:1)

~     defends and protects (Psalm 68:5)

~     holds us and moulds us (Isaiah 64:8)

~     gives and provides (Matthew 6:32,33; 7:9-11)

~     source and purpose (John 4:34; 5:19; 6:38)

2. The Son

~     radiates light and glory (John 1:4-9,14; Hebrews 1:3)

~     makes God known to us (John 1,2,14,18; 14:9.10)

~     bestows grace (John 1:14-17)

~     creates and sustains (Colossians 1:15-17; Hebrews 1:2,3)

~     carries out God’s will (Hebrews 10:7; Colossians 1:19,20)

3. The Spirit

~     brings life (Psalm 104:30; John 6:63; Romans 8:11)

~     makes God real (Romans 5:5; John 14:16,17)

~     teaches and encourages (John 14:26; 16:13)

~     equips with power (Luke 4:14; Acts 1:8; Ephesians 3:16)

~     shows us God’s will (John 16:13-14; Acts 8:39; 13:2)

III KNOWING GOD
“This is eternal life, that they may know you, the only true God” John 17:3)

Over To You;
Consider ways that we can have a relationship with God as Father, as Son and as Holy Spirit. What are some of the special features of the relationship in each case?

1. God the Father     2. God the Son     3. God the Holy Spirit Believe... that it is by GRACE ALONE that sinful human beings -- and that includes us all -- have forgiveness, peace with God and eternal life, instead of guilt, fear, and condemnation. Grace is God’s “undeserved love”.

Believe... that it is by FAITH ALONE that this absolutely free gift is received by us. Faith is simply a personal trust that God has done all this by the death and resurrection of His only Son, Jesus Christ.

Believe... that it is the SCRIPTURE ALONE that is the absolute source of Truth, an unerring guide to be believed above human reason, experience, or tradition. By “Scriptures” we mean the Bible, the divinely inspired Word of God.

Believe... that New Life is God’s free gift to all who, by the working of the Holy Spirit, believe in Jesus Christ as God’s Son, and their personal Savior from sin. New Life is the reality of living securely in God’s love, strengthened and renewed by the Holy Spirit, guided by the Word of God, and fully anticipating the glorious and eternal life in heaven.

How to Have a Relationship with God from the Bible

1. The reason we do not have a relationship with God is because of sin. Rom 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, (NKJ)

Ecc 7:20 For there is not a just man on earth who does good and does not sin. (NKJ)

Isaiah 59:1-2 Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; nor His ear heavy, that it cannot hear.

2 But your iniquities have separated you from your God; and your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear. (NKJ) 2. Men try to approach God in many ways, but cannot meet the standards God expects. Every way of approach unto God misses the mark. We are simply unable to approach God through our own good works or our own good deeds. Jesus Christ alone is the only solution.

Isaiah 64:6 But we are all like an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags; we all fade as a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. (NKJ)

Romans 3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin. (NKJ)

Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. (NKJ)

Galatians 2:16 knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified. (NKJ)

3. Jesus Christ is God's solution. He died for our sins and rose from the grave. Jesus loved us and has bridged the gap by paying for our sins. Through His death on the Cross, God is able to offer us His love, a relationship with Him, and eternal life!

John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. (NKJ)

Romans 3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin. (NKJ)

Romans 5:8-9 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. (NKJ)

1 Peter 3:18 For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit, (NKJ)

Isaiah 53:5-6 But He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, every one, to his own way; and the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. (NKJ)

4. We must believe and place our trust in Jesus Christ, God's Provision for sin and eternal life. Faith alone in Christ alone is all that is needed to be saved!

Acts 16:30-31 And he brought them out and said, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved? 31 So they said, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household." (NKJ)

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (NKJ)

~ A decision has to be made as we hear God's Good News ~

John 3:18 He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (NKJ)

John 3:36 He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him. (NKJ)

The Bible Promises Eternal Life to All Who Receive Christ

The Bible promises eternal life to every person who receives Jesus Christ. "The witness is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, in order that you may know that you have eternal life." (1John 5:11-13).

God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5). On the basis of this promise, you can know that Christ lives in you and that you have eternal life from the very moment you invite Him into your life. Have You Heard the Good News from the Bible?
Do you know for sure (beyond the shadow of a doubt) that you have eternal life?

If you are not sure, wouldn't you like to be absolutely sure that you will spend eternity with God in Heaven when you die? God's written Word, the Bible, says that it is possible for you to be sure today: "Look, now is the acceptable time; look, now is the day of salvation" (2 Cor. 6:2b). God is speaking to you through the Scriptures—His word—His voice: "Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion" (Heb. 3:15). Please read the following with an open heart and mind, and let God speak His good news message to you:

1. God loves people and wants to have a personal relationship with them—now and for all eternity.

Jesus said:

"I came that they might have life and have it in abundance." (John 10:10, HCSB)

"For God loved the world in this way*: He gave His One-and-Only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16, HCSB; *Or to this extent; Gk = thus [footnote added])

2. All of us have rebelled against God and are separated from a relationship with Him.

God’s Word, the Bible, calls this rebellion "sin". Sin is doing what we want instead of what God wants—in thought, word, or deed. All of us have sinned against God—either by doing what He says we should not do, or by not doing what He says we should do.

"There is no one righteous, not even one; . . . For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."   (Romans 3:10, 23, HCSB)

". . . for the person who knows to do good but doesn't do it, it is a sin." (James 4:17, HCSB)

Even the good things that we do don’t measure up to God’s standard. His standard is perfection, and no one is perfect.

"All of us have become like something unclean, and all our righteous acts are like a polluted garment . . ."   (Isaiah 64:6, HCSB)

Because God is holy and just (or righteous; just = right and fair in all He is and does), He must punish sin. Just one sin during our entire lifetime is enough to keep us out of Heaven!

"For whoever keeps the entire law, yet fails in one point, is guilty of [breaking it] all."   (James 2:10, HCSB)

Because He is holy and just, our sin has hurt, angered, and offended God and separated us from Him.

"But your iniquities have built barriers between you and your God, and your sins have made Him hide His face from you."   (Isaiah 59:2, HCSB)

God’s Word also tells us that the penalty for our sin is death. This separation is not only physical death, but also spiritual death—separation from God forever.

"For the wages of sin is death,* but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."   (Romans 6:23, HCSB; *In this verse, death = spiritual separation from God) As the above diagram illustrates, all attempts that SINFUL PEOPLE make to connect with a HOLY and JUST GOD (by their own Self Effort) will always fail in reaching Him. God's standard is absolute perfection. No amount of our personal effort, good works, or religious deeds can earn us a relationship with God.

3. God has provided the only way to give us an eternal relationship with Himself: through the Lord Jesus Christ.

Jesus said:

"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." (John 14:6, HCSB)

Jesus is 100% God and 100% man. He is God the Son. Jesus proved that He is God the Son by: living a sinless life, fulfilling numerous Messianic prophecies, performing miracles, claiming to be God, and rising from the dead.

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God . . . The Word became flesh* and took up residence among us." (John 1:1, 14, HCSB; *this refers to when Jesus Christ became a human being)

"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12, HCSB)

Why is Jesus our only way to God? Because Jesus is the only one qualified to pay for our sins and die in our place on the cross. Three days after His death and burial, Jesus Christ arose from the grave, proving that God’s promise of eternal life can be ours:

"Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures . . . He was raised on the third day."   (1 Corinthians 15:3-4, HCSB)

Why did Jesus have to die to pay for our sins? Because God says that sin must be paid for by the death of a perfect (sinless) substitute (Romans 6:23; 2 Corinthians 5:21). The above diagram illustrates that God has to reach us (God's Effort) since SINFUL PEOPLE can never reach a HOLY and JUST GOD. The only way that He can reach SINFUL PEOPLE is through the death of JESUS, who died in our place to pay the penalty for our sins.

4. God’s free gift of eternal life can be yours by putting your complete faith in Jesus Christ Himself. In other words, believe He is the Person He claimed to be—the Son of God—and that He Himself has the power to save you. "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved . . ." (Rom. 10:13).

Faith means trusting in the Lord Jesus Christ as the only One who can bring us into a right relationship with God. Faith means depending on Jesus and His substitutionary death on the cross to do for us what we could never do for ourselves.

"The one who believes in the Son has eternal life, but the one who refuses to believe in the Son will not see life*; instead, the wrath of God remains on him." (John 3:36, HCSB; *not see life = not experience eternal life)

"Believe on the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved . . ." (Acts 16:31, HCSB)

This free gift can never be earned by doing good works. It is free to us, but it was costly to God, who gave His beloved Son. Jesus has already paid the penalty for our sin!

"... the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 6:23, HCSB)

"For by grace* you are saved** through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God's gift— not from works, so that no one can boast."   (Ephesians 2:8-9, HCSB; *grace = undeserved favor; **saved = rescued from hell, a place of eternal separation from God)

You cannot give anything to God to earn salvation. You must give up your trust in your own efforts to please God and place your complete trust in Jesus' substitutionary death on the cross. You need to stop trusting in your own good works, attempts to obey or follow God, or your pride in thinking you are a good enough person to face God, and instead rely 100% on what He did for you on the cross, where He suffered the punishment that you deserved to receive.

When you trust in Jesus alone as your Substitute in dying (that He died for your sins in your place), God will then give you eternal life as a gift. To put it another way, He will save you with an everlasting salvation from sin, Satan, and hell—without costing you a cent. It is hard to believe, it's so amazing, but God's gift of salvation IS ABSOLUTELY FREE. WHAT ARE YOU TRUSTING IN FOR ETERNAL LIFE? Most people fit into one of the above three circles. They are either trusting in their WORKS, or in CHRIST PLUS something, or in CHRIST ALONE for eternal life. However, only faith in CHRIST ALONE will guarantee eternal life for you. Failure to receive His wonderful offer will deprive you of the greatest gift ever given.

"Anyone who believes in Him* is not condemned, but anyone who does not believe is already condemned, because he has not believed in the name of the one and only Son of God." (John 3:18, HCSB; *Him = Jesus)

"But to all who did receive Him,* He gave them the right to be [Or become] children of God, to those who believe in His name." (John 1:12, HCSB; *Him = Jesus)

Right now, will you receive God’s free gift of eternal life? Will you place all of your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and His death for you, trusting in Him alone as your Savior?

If you will accept God’s free gift of eternal life, then tell Him in your own words or say this simple prayer to God:

Heavenly Father, I admit that I am a sinner. I believe that Jesus is God the Son who died for my sins and rose again. I’m now trusting in Jesus alone as my Savior. Thank you for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life as a free gift. Help me to obey Your Word. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

5. Many wonderful things occur when you receive Jesus as God’s free gift to you.

If you have trusted in Jesus alone for your salvation, God says that these five things are now true of you (regardless of your feelings or circumstances):

1. You have become a child of God. (John 1:12-13; 1 John 3:1)

2. Jesus is in your life, and He promises to never leave you. (Galatians 2:20; Colossians 1:27; Hebrews 13:5)

3. All of your sins are forgiven—past, present, and future. (Colossians 1:13-14; 2:13-14; Hebrews 10:15-18)

4. Jesus has given you a new life. (John 10:10; 2 Corinthians 5:17; Ephesians 2:4-5)

5. You have eternal life, forever. (John 5:24; 10:27-30)

God says that you can know for sure that you have eternal life! In the future, you may disobey and fail God; and you may doubt that He has really forgiven you. When you have such doubts, read back over these truths and memorize this promise in God’s Word:

"And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. The one who has the Son has life. The one who doesn't have the Son of God does not have life. I have written these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life."   (1 John 5:11-13, HCSB)

(See also John 5:24 and Romans 8:31-39.)

After having trusted in Christ alone for salvation, is there anything a Christian could do to no longer have eternal life? No. God will not take back the free gift of salvation. Salvation is eternal, not temporary (John 6:37-39; 10:27-30; 2 Timothy 2:13).

6. You can demonstrate your new faith by saying "Thank You" to God for what He has done for you.

He is pleased when you express your gratitude to Him for:

-allowing you to become His child;
-coming into your life and promising to never leave you;
-forgiving you for all of your past, present, and future sins;
-giving you a new life; and
-allowing you to be certain that you have eternal life.

Would you like to thank God for what He has done for you? If so, take a minute to pray right now, thanking God that the above five points are true of you.

7. You can also express gratitude to God by getting to know Him better through growing spiritually.

-Talk to God (in prayer) about everything. (John 15:7)
-Allow God to talk to you; read His Word. (Acts 17:11) (The Gospel of John is a good place to begin reading.)
-Obey what God shows you in His Word. (John 14:21)
-Talk to and spend time with others who have received Christ. (Hebrews 10:24-25)
-Talk to those who have not received Christ; tell them how they can receive the free gift of eternal life. (John 15:8)
Everyone in God’s family must receive spiritual "food" and nurturing to "grow up" as a Christian. You need to be trained to be a disciple of Jesus to: (1) obey God, (2) introduce others to Christ, and (3) make disciples of others.

To help you better understand God's Word, the Bible, you may like to listen or reed the KJV Bible.... it will be a blessing   to know you've found Christ as your Savior. 2 Corinthians 5:17                 Joel 2:13                 Colossians 3:2-4       Matthew 7:13-14             Hebrews 7:18-19 Matthew 16:25       Ezekiel 33:11   Deuteronomy 30:19       Metthew 13:44       1 Peter 1:8-9       Luke 5:31-32     2 Peter 1:10-11     Psalm 89:48 You cannot take your chances. ~The Bible says, "(Hebrews 9:27) And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:"
~You really don't know for sure how much time is left of your life "(James 4:14) Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away." You cannot save your self. ~The Bible says, "(Galatians 2:16)Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified."
~It also says, "(Isaiah 64:6)But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away." Salvation is free to all. ~The Bible says, "(Romans 10:13)For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
~The Bible says "(1 Timothy 1:15)This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.(1 Peter 3:18)For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: If you do not get saved... ~The Bible says, "(Revelation 14:11)And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.(Romans 6:23)For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
~This death is more than just physical death. It is an "eternal burning!"
(Revelation 21:8) But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death." How you can be saved... ~The Bible calls for"repentance toward God"~the Bible also calls for "faith toward our Lord Jasus Christ."(Acts 20:21)Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.
~Repentance is a change of heart which causes you to turn toward God and away from your present way of life. Accept the Bible facts that you are guilty as a sinner before Him, and you are unable to deliver your self from the punishment of hell, wehich is due you because of your sin.
~Faith is putting complete trust in Jesus Christ as your only means of clearing your guilt and delivering your soul from the punishment of hell. The Bible says,"...Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved"(Acts 16:31)And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
~If you will receive Jesus Christ into your heart, by trusting Him to save your soul, you will become a son of God and spend eternity in heaven. "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:"(John 1:12).
~ God promises He will save you if you will trust Jesus Christ as your Saviour. "(Romans 10:9)That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." Doing good works can Not save you ~Salvation is "Not of works, lest any man should boast."~
Ephesians, chapter 2:9) Not of works, lest any man should boast.
~God "hath saved us, and called but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,"~
2 Timothy, chapter 1:9)Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,
~The Bible, God's Word, says, "as it is written, There is non righteous, no, not one:"~
Romans, chapter 3:10) As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
~"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"~
Romans, chapter 3:23) For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
~Sin is the problem, and even belonging to a Church will Not take it away!Jesus Christ Himsalf said,"Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of God"~
John, chapter 3:3) Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
~ As the Bible says,~ "Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by the faith without the deeds of the law."
(Romans, chapter 3:28)
~The Gift of GOD is~
Ephesians, chapter 2:8) For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:     GOD LOVES YOU John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. The human race began when God created the first man, Adam. Adam was created sinless, yet he was also created with ability to choose whether he would accept or reject God's rule.God commanded Adam not to eat of the tree of the knowlage of good and evil; for in that day that he ate from the tree, he would die. "And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die."(Genesis 2:16-17). Adam disobeyed God's commandment and ate of the tree of knowledge, and on that day,he died spiritually. "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered ino the world, and death by sin;and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned"(Romans 5:12). The Bible States here that because Adam sinned, all people are born with the nature to sin. If you have never been born again, you are spiritually dead toward God, just like Adam. If you continiue in this condition until death takes you from this world, you will be eternally condemned to the lake of fire "And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire" (Revelation 20:15) ...

KJV John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
KJV Hebrews 4:12   For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

KJV Bible Verse List below;
Guard Your Mind And Heart From Evil Thoughts
"Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that
exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing
into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;"
2 Corinthians 10:5, KJV

"And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the
Spirit, which is the word of God:"
Ephesians 6:17, KJV

"Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever
things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever
things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever
things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if
there be any praise, think on these things."
Philippians 4:8, KJV

"And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the
earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his
heart was only evil continually."
Genesis 6:5, KJV

"The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately
wicked: who can know it?"
Jeremiah 17:9, KJV

"But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth
from the heart; and they defile the man. For out of the
heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries,
fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies: These are
the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen
hands defileth not a man."
Matthew 15:18-20, KJV

Evil deeds begin with temptations and evil thoughts. It is
the execution of our thoughts which make them a sin . . .
although in some cases, even just the thought may be viewed
by the Lord as a sin, because as Jesus said:

"But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to
lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in
his heart."
Matthew 5:28, KJV

Thus Paul wrote:

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"
Romans 3:23, KJV
